Fees: 12 week, 1 hour sessions: $150.00 + tax
12 week, 2 hour sessions: $275.00 + tax
6 week, 2 hour sessions: $150.00+ tax
6 week, 1 hour sessions: $75.00 + tax
Drop-In Classes (1 Hour): $16.95 + tax
Adult Drop-In Class (2 Hour): $33.90 + tax
1 hour Private session: $45.00 + tax
6 week, 1 hr Private sessions: $210.00 + tax ($35 /class for each additional week)
*A non-refundable deposit of $25 is required at time of registration, balance due first day of class. We accept Debit, Visa, Mastercard, cash & cheques. (NSF cheques require repayment in cash plus a $20 NSF fee) Private and Drop-In classes are to be paid in full at the beginning of each class. A discount is given to Private classes when booked and paid in sessions of 6 or more.
Class Descriptions:
General Art: (Ages 6 years to Adult) General art class is designed to assist artists of all ages & experience levels. Joanne will offer one on one instuction to assist and guide students at their own pace on an art project of the students choice. She will also offer class instruction on art principles and techniques that apply to all students in the study of realistic art and composition. Supplies include drawing board, HB art quality pencil, white eraser, newsprint, drawing paper. Students working in color will be given a list according to the meduim being used. Specific list to be given upon registration and may vary according to students experience level and project.
Adult General Art: (Ages 16 years and up) Adult general art class is the same as General art class but offered only to the adult age group and is a 2 hour class. Adult artists of all experience levels from beginner to advanced welcome.
Private Classes: (All age levels) Private classes are offered for individuals who prefer to learn in a one on one environment. Classes are designed to meet each individual students needs after an initial consultation. Private class times will be subject to availablility and are booked by appointment. Supply list will vary according to individual student, to be given upon registration.
Drop-In Classes: Drop-In class dates and times are listed on the schedule and will be subject to availability in each type of art class. Limited supplies provided for first Drop-In class, subsequent classes will require supplies to be provided by the student. Supply list will vary according to individual student, to be given upon registration.

Joanne Marchildon has a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Saskatchewan with specialised study in Fine Art from both the Education & Fine Arts departments and has had various teaching postitions over the past 13 years. Her study of art is extensive and ongoing and she offers a wide range of experience and technique to her students. Joanne's areas of expertise are teaching drawing, painting & chalk pastel; specializing in realistic drawing & painting in areas such as portraits, wildlife, landscapes & stilllife. For the past 3 years, Joanne has owned and operated Joanne Marchildon Artworks / Nature Artist which has been run as a home based business, online gallery & website, as well as attending public art shows & sales and teaching art workshops, classes and private lessons. Joanne will continue to show her work at art shows & sales as well as run her online gallery & website. Now, the opening of the Gallery & Art School will allow Joanne to continue to persue her two main passions through a main location, where she will be found creating & selling artwork, as well as teaching her students the love of art!!
